A familiar face at the Jan Juc Chiropractic and Natural Therapies Clinic is now available for massage treatment bookings.
Deb has been working as a therapeutic massage therapist since 2014 and more recently as a remedial massage therapist after completing her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2022. Her journey began when she resigned from her Marketing Executive position and was looking to begin something new. Deb’s decision to study massage coincided with her husband when he began competing in Ironman distance triathlons. The remarkable difference massage made to his performance, recovery and wellbeing was remarkable.
Living locally with her husband and two teenage boys, she can often be seen walking with a camera in hand along the beautiful coastline. Her two boys are involved in football umpiring (Boundary Umpires) so it is common to see Deb in the middle of the football ground during game breaks. This support also translates into massaging at the Geelong Umpires. Deb also loves cooking, cycling, swimming and skiing.
Deb is a very passionate and caring health professional who has considerable experience in treating a wide range of conditions from headaches, neck and back pain, sciatica, general muscle tightness and sporting injuries. A variety of techniques are used throughout her treatments and can include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports, myofascial release and cupping.
